Brief
To breathe life back into a long-neglected back garden and pool area. The entire back garden and pool had been uncared for for many years resulting in the pool surround subsiding and cracking, leaving the pool unusable. The client also didn’t like the multiple levels and slopes in the garden so wanted to improve the space’s usability.

Approach
With only a loose concept from the designer we quickly realised there were a lot of discrepancies, so entrusted by the client and to avoid inevitable delays we proceeded to amend issues as we encountered them. With only limited access via the side path we commenced demolition tree removal and ground levelling, form works for the new pool slab and risers to the deck. We replaced and increased the size of the main deck to create an amazing entertainment space, as well as adding a new decking area to the back of the pool to enhance the usability giving a wonderful lounging space. New wood fencing on the boundary and glass fencing around the new crazy paved pool surround was met by the new level lawn. With Pavers giving access to both sides through beds of new tropical plants.

Outcome/Result
A stunning modern entertainers deck and garden space with a seamlessly integrated pool area to enjoy and an expansive lawn for the kids to play on. Planted with beautiful tropical plants creating a real feeling of oasis and peacefulness surrounding the impressive existing gum tree as a feature. Beautiful, practical, a stunningly modern and usable garden space.
